Motion Transfer AI for Pet Videos: From Bad Times to Your Next Trend
Meet Motion Transfer AI, explore the Bad Times pet reaction and other ready-made trends, and learn how to use your own motion reference.
Your pet has a lot more to say after the kitchen reaction. Motion Transfer AI lets you put a pet or character photo into prepared video performances, explore other trends, or use your own motion reference. Start with Bad Times, then find a different role for the same photo.
What Motion Transfer brings to a pet photo
Motion Transfer combines a photo with a reference performance to generate a new video. Your image guides the appearance of the animal; the reference supplies the action. In a prepared trend, the page loads the performance and its setup for you. Each page tells you which photos and settings it needs.
The trend library brings together pet reactions, dances, performances and other ideas. That makes it useful when you want to try a new scene with a photo you already like. Preview each performance first: the number of roles, duration, framing and sound can differ.
Start with the Bad Times reaction
The Bad Times template on Motion Transfer uses one pet photo and a 30-second kitchen performance with sound. The reference supplies the gestures, scene and camera; you do not need to film your dog or cat reacting. Motion Transfer generates the animal’s appearance from your photo, so small details can change.
Open the template and watch the performance. Upload a clear photo, review the available settings and displayed credit cost, then generate. Follow the task in My creations and play the finished clip before downloading it. The Bad Times generator on this site uses a 15-second reference, so choose the version you want before submitting.
Turn the reaction into a short story
Preview the Motion Transfer performance and find the moment that feels like the punchline: a lean toward the camera, an open mouth or a raised paw. Give the viewer a reason for that reaction in a short caption, then let the gesture finish the joke. For example:
- “When the walk gets postponed for the third time.”
- “When the bottom of the food bowl becomes visible.”
- “Me hearing the vet say it is just a quick check.”
After downloading, add the caption in your own editor or posting app and keep it clear of your pet’s face. You can trim the clip there if a shorter beat works better. Use the trend library to find a different performance when the scene or timing calls for another kind of reaction.
Choose a photo that works for the performance
Pick a well-lit photo you are allowed to upload. Show the face clearly and include the body and paws when the performance shows them. A collar, coat pattern or outfit is easier for the model to see when it is unobstructed. Your pet can be still in the photo: the motion comes from the reference.
Watch the result through the mouth movements, close-ups and paw gestures that carry the reaction. Faces, paws, markings or accessories may shift as the animal moves. If a detail matters, try a clearer source photo while keeping in mind that another generation is a new task and may look different.
Use your own reference for a different idea
The Motion Transfer workspace also accepts your own photo and motion video. For a reaction of your own, choose footage you have permission to use, with the face and any important hand or paw gestures visible throughout the beat. Trim the reference to the action you want, within the chosen model’s limit.
The workspace offers Kling Motion Control, Wan Animate and Seedance workflows. Supported file types, the number of photos, reference length, prompts and audio behavior vary by model. Check the form for the selected model and review the credit estimate before submitting.
Check the cost and share the result
Motion Transfer uses credits, while this Bad Times site uses separate video passes. The Motion Transfer cost depends on the workflow and settings, and a new attempt can use additional credits. Check your balance and the displayed cost before generating.
Listen to the completed clip and check the animal’s appearance before posting. Follow the destination platform’s AI-label and music rules; a soundtrack supplied with a template does not grant separate rights for every use.
